It started with a Superhero's app on Facebook that I actually think is pretty neat for a "game" on a social networking site. My original superpower was bioelectricity, so I came up with "Shocks the Monkey" and need a pic to go along with it. I'm still sort of working on it, and I'm getting more use out of that tablet and Painter, which is always a bonus. Here's a couple of them: Monkey Sketch. This is a tiny sketch in the corner of a paper at work. I was going for that Planet-of-the-Apes monkey.  Shocks the Monkey, alpha version. I should have posted some sketches, but this is the monkey colored with no background.  Shocks the Monkey, beta version. Background, electricity (which I still can't do properly) and a Boston backdrop. He lacks detail, especially the idea of hair across his head.  Gladiator Monkey. This one is somewhat better, but somewhere along the way, it turned from superhero, to Roman gladiator. Honestly, I have no idea why. I do know, he lacks a helmet of some kind. I was thinking of the typical shoe-polish brush, but I don't think that says slave-monkey enough. I'll have to look around.
