It's dropped down into the freaking teens the last couple of days and, because I have this bizarre karma, the blower in my car has stopped working. The heat works, but there's nothing to force it out of the vents.
So, I had to drive to work all bundled up while just enough warm air wafts onto the windshield to keep it clear. Even that's not true. I let the car warm up for almost 20 minutes this morning and it didn't do a damn thing to get the ice off the windshield. It's only enough to keep ti from fogging up, I think.
More than likely, my body heat brought up the temperature to just around freezing. My fingers took a good hour to thaw out once I got here.
Going home is going to be worse, because it's been sitting in shade all day and I don't really want to sit there for 20+ minutes before heading home.
Man, this never happens when it's convenient does it?

Could be worse. It was 0 here the other day. I think the high was like 2. Christy woke me up at 3am to let me know that the furnace in our house wasn't working. The inside temp was 35.
Of course, in true guy fashion, I rolled over and went back to sleep. It was nice and warm under the blankets.
On the upside, the fuel company fixed the furnace yesterday morning.
