Crashing

I'm falling asleep here at my desk.

Tine's cough is now relegated to pre-bedtime at night and 40 minutes before the alarm goes off in the morning. That and they've got the heat set to Vulcan for some god forsaken reason. None of which is helpful or productive.

My copy of Painter came in (crushed box and all). I'm totally psyched to try it out and am metally preparing myself to be completely overwhelmed and frustrated into calling it quits. Yeah, I have low expectations.

Of course, tonight I can't just go home and start playing with it. First I have an Dr's appointment at 7, which will probably mean I won't get home until about 8 PM. Then, yesterday, I promised TheBoy I would play his new Lego Star Wars II game with him this evening. Which means, I probably won't get to it until 9 PM, at which time I was hoping to jump into a little BF2 action (although this distressing talk of reviving StarCraft has me daydreaming about my last nightmarish encounters with that game, some of which is detailed in here and here). On the plus side, if they do opt for StarCraft tonight, I guess I do have a back up.

Finally, I took Friday off at the last minute for a four-day weekend (and a two-day work week). So, at the very least, I'll have tomorrow to play with it as well.
