Sunday, December 18, 2005 "the idea and lay out is pretty neat. Those guys are douche bags though"[sic] The !Zombie! game site has been, for some time now, getting all these mad hits. I mean it went from zero to sixty somewhere around late October. Mostly due to a blog entry at InkTank, which is funky because he's had like 1 entry since then. But a ton of people seem to stream through since he wrote it and I've been mildly amused. Today I noticed this link from a Penny-Arcade forum thread and it's sort of harsh and goofy. We're easy to pick on. It's a niche hobby and a niche game. We look like dorks (we are dorks). What I find amusing is that anyone wastes time thinking about it who doesn't have an interest. I mean, the quote about being bored and going Godzilla on the town; why would you have bothered to show up? And why are we douches, again? I spotted that a few days ago, and was just about to post the link in the forum, and then strangely didn't have the heart. Totally out of character.
