I'm sure that Alfred has been worried I would forget about the serial with NaNoWriMo taking over my life lately. But fear not Alfred! You're precious serial is still on course and Episodes 56-60 are waiting for you as we speak!
Speaking of NaNo, I crossed the 10K border last night and I'm feeling pretty good about it. I'm still behind by about 3K but I'm slowly whittling away at the deficit. Unfortunately, I probably will fall further behind today as I'm already committed to watching Lost and Invasion tonight. So, whatever I do at lunch will probably be it for the day. Oh well, I didn't start this thinking I would make 50K this time. But I'm pretty sure I'll hit 25K - maybe 30. I wish writing at home brought better results, there's ultimately more time there, especially with the weekends. It's just that there's also more shiny and noisy distractions as well.
Also, it appears the Word-O-Meter is down for the count. The guy who ran it last year can't support the bandwidth drain this time around, so it's kaput. I'll have to look around for a new one.

Can't you write your own word-o-meter?
Not really.
Can you make one for me? Maybe something that starts out with, say, a fully clothed Alfred. As I write you slowly loose clothing until the full Monty at 50K?
Then the only question would be: Will I try to finish quicker or will I suddenly shelve the whole idea and wash my eyes out with chlorine?
