Man, it's just turning into the Summer of Pain.
The freakin' forums once again, have to be upgraded. PhPBB is turning out to be about as seaworthy as the Titanic. And now, my hosting company has decided that they've had almost enough as well. They're new policy is to shut down any boards that aren't up-to-date within 24 hours of a new patch.
Only they decided this over the past weekend and, luckily, today was the only day the boards went down.
But PhPBB is a pain because I never feel like I'm doing it right. Then, on top of that, the final command to upgrade has to be give via the web. So you have to plug in a URL. Only now they've set up a redirect on my board and I can't fucking get to the php file to run the upgrade.
Fucking brilliant!
Luckily, I've never had too much trouble with thier CS. Every time I've had an issue it was less than 24 hours in pipe.
Still, I can't take much more of this...
In other news, the holiday was okay. The drive up to Maine took a whooping 5 hours, which was just nuts. We arrived just before my parents, who managed to leave 2 hours after us, and get there about 40 mins after.
I brought the laptop and got some fun in. Plus, I found this video I made from last year. Sorry, it's rather large at the moment, about 27 MBs. Like everything else, if you don't know them, it might be a bit "dull".
