Tuesday, October 12, 2004 You Say Zombies!!! I Say Zombie! I was checking to see if Munchkin Bites! had shipped yet via The Daily Illuminator. Alas no, but there as a link for an expansion to a game called Zombies!!! Almost a year ago, I came up with a BrikWars scenario I called Zombies! (I also put it up here on my site). It basically involved two teams: Town and Zombie. Each player would start with a single Town Crier or Zombie at the edges of a town chock full of unsuspecting townsfolk. The goal was to convert as many to your side and destory the other. Although it appears to use cards and minis to escape a zombie ridden town, I thought it was pretty close. There appear to be special buildings too. Then again, there's not a ton of variety to a living dead scenario. I mean, they almost write themselves. And then they almost write themselves the same. Zombies attack humans. Humans have to outwit/outrun/destroy zombies. Just the change the setting. Even the name with an exclamation point is cliche. Which is why I added one (should have added three, but there's the English Major in me). If Zombies!!! weren't backordered to December, I would probably buy a copy of some Halloween fun.
