Biting Off More Than I Can Chew

Well, in the fine tradition of completely going out of my mind, I've signed up at the National Novel Writing Month to churn out a novel in 30 days. Yes, it's laughworthy. Yes, I think it seriously unlikely that I can pound out 50,000 words in 30 days (that translates into 1667 words a day). And it adds an insane amount of work to my daily schedule as it is. At the same time, I have work, kids, family and I'm still working on all the post-game stuff for the Brikington Manor DVD. I'll see if I can't squeeze in updates here as well.

I'm sure it'll break around 5k words instead of 50k. :(

But maybe it'll kick-start something. I still don't know what the hell I'm going to write about, but I've been thinking about it since I found the NaNoWriMo site and leaped without looking. I've think I've narrowed it down to three of the bazillion unwritten stories I've got floating around in my brain.

At least the laptop will see some more use.

I added their little icon to the sidebar. While one could look at it as some cutsie-pukie fluffy forest creature, I think the slighty human face adds an element of creepitude that has me wondering if he's writing a little "manifesto" to the papers after carving up some hikers and boiling thier remains for his WinterStew.

I'm so screwed.
