Wednesday, August 04, 2004 Ker-Pow! My friend, Lisa Z (which sounds like a rapper... or stripper) had her Hyundai Accent turned into an accordion paperweight last week. She said she was perfectly fine, save a few cuts and bruises: "I was fourth in line at a traffic light (10 minutes away from home). Light turned green, we all started to go. This guy was however far back, saw the light was green and our break lights weren't on, I guess and literally was zoning/spacing out – he just learned that he was getting laid off from AT&T. Pregnant wife, new house – he was spacin' and just didn't stop. So I was going probably 5 miles an hour – he had to be going at LEAST 50. Good thing was, I didn't see it coming." "...I was FINE. Didn't feel a thing. Walked out of the car. I was freaked cause of the smoke – thought I was on fire. Once the ambulance showed up and saw my car, they couldn't get me strapped to that board fast of enough. I gave them a hard time of course – hate to be strapped down... The boyfriend was at a game – couldn't get him on the phone. I got my friend Walter who was 5 minutes away. I made them wait until he got there. He road in the ambulance with me - made me laugh the whole way – he was great. sheesh." posted by Evil Wayne | 1:06 PM 0 comments 0 Comments: |
