Thursday, April 22, 2004 Bring the Brats to Work Today was Bring Your Kids to Work Day. But work decided to give the kids a taste of the real world. They coordinated it so the kids got "interviewed" and "hired" for jobs about the building. How odd. I mean, do they also get to experience the malaise of not being hired? "Sorry, Timmy, we're just looking for someone who doesn't eat so much paste. I mean, that's a monkey on your back kid." The kids then did jobs. I saw someone at the copy machine and heard one of them on the intercom. Oh boy. So were they also fetching coffee and proofing books? Designing a layout? How exciting can it be?
